Decided to try Carnival, even though they have had their problems in the past. Thought this might be good since the ship was new. The ship and cabins were clean and the service was very good. The meals were average and the menu was usually quite the same. The cruise director was exceptional and the best part of the cruise. The ship catered more to milleniums and children, which we were not. I was surprised at how much movement the ship had since the seas were calm and the ship new. Would have expected it to be more stable. I am comparing it to other cruise ships we have been on (Norwegian) in which you didn't feel anything. Other than one night, the entertainment was mediocre at best with no entertainment you have ever heard of. Other ships have had the Blue Man Group, etc. which are very good. The onboard shops were very few and the ship simply didn't have any WOW factor as we have experienced with other cruises and they didn't stay at any port more than 6 to 7 hours which made it difficult to do much unless you bought one of their provided tour packages. Will not cruise on Carnival again.

Cabin 8E

Cabin was normal for a balcony experience. Service was very good and room was very clean, as expected since the ship is new.
