we did this same cruise on the quantum 2 years ago and expected about the same and we got it right; we cruise for the ports as we have visited them many times; we know the shops and the beaches and they were all lovely; short time in san juan but not much to do in a short time; other stops lovely, especially st. martin and st kitts; ship was very nice as expected with crazy shops on board with the same old stuff as other cruises; always enjoy the free coffee shop and sorrentos; in terior room nice and large with excellent room steward and room service in the a. m.entertainment not very good except 2 comedians and acrobats; headliner shows hard to follow and weird like the quantum had; nice to have the diamond club as a perk to look forward to at 5; dinner now was changed from dynamic dining to classic as we ate in the grande; unfortunately as I am in the minority we did like the dynamic better compared to the classic; food was better and more diverse in the dynamic dining ,even though booking 4 different restaurants was horrendous; once we got on ship, the quantum , all dining was excellent; ; the anthem selections were ok, beef could only be ordered medium well or medium rare; either way it was rare orr well done and NO MEDIUM; therefore we passed on beef; activities plenty and checking in and getting off were very good as usual with rccl in bayonne; nice cruise but will pass on this ship compared to thers ; yes our table service was good after we asked head waiter to please speed things up; we don't need a 2 hour dining service; all in all we enjoyed cruise for what we paid ;
