Sail Date: Jan 2017
Cabin: Large Outside Stateroom (partial sea views)

I'm 66 and retired and I don't usually cruise during school holidays for obvious reasons but this year choose the Noordam in early January around New Zealand and with the hope that not many kids would be on board. There weren't many and they were mostly well behaved. Not like some cruises lines that encourage a few too many of them.

I traveled alone and thoroughly enjoyed myself on this cruise. Its my 5th cruise with HAL and it won't be my last.

Cabin was quiet and restful. I had nice quiet neighbours besides, above and below me..

Cabin Review

Large Outside Stateroom (partial sea views)

Cabin G

The cabin was the usual HAL cabin, quite comfortable and well maintained and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are quite small but have a small bathtub. Tub and sink drainage was very slow. TV screen was old and small and reception was mostly pretty woeful.

Air-conditioning worked perfectly. The bed was bliss.

Partial view was very partial in fact very tiny partial but at least there was daylight.
