We wanted to try something new, and thought a cruise would be a great way to see different places. Embankment and dismemberment were fine, at least for us. The cabin was clean, plenty of storage. The bathroom set up was odd, but we learned to deal with it. We did wish they gave better chairs on the balcony, and that the bed was a bit longer. Ortiz was a great steward!

There seemed to be opposition to seasoning in the restaurants. The buffet was adequate, for what it was, but when my husband asked for black pepper.on his omelette the chef said they didn't have any. Taste was terrible. We were the only ones there and it took twenty minutes to be served. The food was not good. We went to Le Bistro, which was great except again, no pepper on the steak a poivre (with pepper) The hibachi was fun, not enough vegetables. Cagney's was fantastic. Service was great at all the specialty restaurants. Actually, the only bad service we had was at Taste that one time, and one bartender at O'Sheehans, which also had terrible food. The bars were wonderful. The servers all made sure to get to know us, and we had a blast talking to them.

We loved the Beatles group, but too small a space. That was really all we saw because we thought we could book on the cruise, but all that was available was late at night. It felt like there were a.lot of things that we thought we could do but they were only open certain times. Way too much shopping on the boat. Even the "entertainment" half the time was actually a way to make money. We got bored fairly quickly, but relaxing isn't a strong point for us. We did love watching ET on the back of the boat. We also had the drink package, so no complaints about the alcohol other than not being able to get an Irish coffee.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

The only complaint is that the bed was too short for my husband. It was clean, plenty of storage, and Ortiz was incredibly friendly and efficient.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

It took a long time to get to the ship, but that isn't Norwegian's fault.

Great Stirrup Cay

Had no clue we could walk to the lighthouse. No one told us we needed cash on the island. Food was not great. Had fun floating though.
