We try always to cruise on Princess because they consistently offer a very good value for our money. Food, service, cleanliness and condition of ship is always excellent. The Island Princess is not a mega ship, approximately 2,200 passengers. It is easy to get around, but large enough to have everything we need. The food was always well-prepared and delicious. The food in the buffet was appetizing and always varied. Food in the main dining room was wonderful. We chose traditional dining, and dinner was something we looked forward to each evening. Our waiters were efficient, professional, but very personable and fun. Service, from our cabin steward to the wait staff was excellent. Our cabin was spacious and very comfortable. Entertainment was always very good, and they had plenty of entertainment venues for everyone's tastes. A cruise is often what you make it, but when the cruise line gets it right, everything else just falls into place.

Cabin was clean and spacious. Decor was very attractive. Plenty of storage.

Tour was interesting, but too long. Guide's English was very poor, so it was exhausting to try to understand him.
