Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

My husband, 20 yr old daughter and myself had a wonderful large balcony cabin. 8660. It had plenty of room and a huge deck, mid ship. We had plenty of storage. 2 wardrobes, heaps of drawers. Loved that the bathroom had proper shower door. Our room was very clean and modern. Check in was super fast as they were very organised and had set times for passengers plus you can pre-load your photo and information. I loved that you could go into their website precruise and set up reservations for dinner, shows, beverage packages, internet etc. as well as do some pre-embarkment activity. This made embarkation fast. Disembarkation was fast too. Ship had heaps of elevators so getting around was very easy. Loved the pools (especially adult sanctuary), shows, silent disco was hilarious. Yes you did have to queue (90 minutes),to get a reservation for ifly and the observation pod but then it was only a 5 day cruise and there were thousands of passengers so a bit of an impossible task. We didn't have issues with anything else. We observed several customers being extremely rude to staff which was a shame as they obviously work very hard. The food was good, not great, but good. If you go with a positive attitude, you will have a great time.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Fantastic choice of cabin, midship, handy to elevators, quiet. Huge balcony twice the size of most. Had queen bed as well as couch that could be made up into another double bed - our daughter slept in this. Roomy with plenty of storage.
