Famous for being one of the three largest cruise ships in the world, I had to test it out for myself. Bigger, does not mean better. Everything was great, except the rooms were too small. Of course we made accommodations to make it work. ie. suit cases were pushed under the bed. Of course we did not have time to visit all of the places as well as all of the entertainment that was available. The planning of the entertainment seemed to conflict with the dinner schedules. Reservations had to be made for the on-ship entertainment. There was a long line to enter. If seems that if you had a reservation, just scan your seapass and keep it moving. For someone to have to look up a room number to see if you had reservations, while thongs of people were in line, seemed archaic.

All in all, I had a great time!!!

Family Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin FB

There were 3 adults (ages 65, 38, 33) and one 3 year old in this room. It was much too small considering we had to spend one whole week in this small self- contained area. Each person had 2 suit cases, and two carry-ons, which totaled 16 pieces of individual luggage. Tempers flared occasionally. I think more attention should have been spent on the design of the rooms, instead of the extra fluff of the seven adventure areas. At times, we became quite claustraphobic. We made accommodations by living out of the suit cases and pushing them under the beds. We put one phone stand in the closet to allow for more space. Walking around each other was nearly impossible. So we had to sit down on the bed as one person moved from one area of the room to another. Other than this inconvenience, the trip was fantastic!!!

Port Reviews

Labadee

Beach was rocky, filled with seaweed, The sand shifted below me as a wave knocked me down. I suffered an injury to my left hip, which caused me a lot of problems for the duration of the cruise.

Cozumel

Fantastic experience. Water floats were tethered to the beach floor, and you could stay afloat with worrying about going out to deep water.
