This is a beautiful ship, and the crew are awesome! The food was great, although I do wish there would have been more late night options other than room service, dried up pizza, sandwiches, and dessert. The food in the Windjammer was awesome every day went went in there, and the specialty restaurants for the most part were very good. Everything on the ship was very clean, and they were really big on people washing and sanitizing their hands to keep it that way. Our cabin had plenty enough space, was very clean and well-kept, and we loved having a balcony overlooking Central Park.

There was plenty to do on the ship, and it seemed to be pretty well laid out, except getting a cabin mid-ship did not turn out well with the elevator placement. I would recommend forward or aft cabins unless you don't mind walking a long way to the elevators or stairs. We did our own shore excursions other than on Labadee Haiti, so I can't vouch for what they have for Jamaica or Cozumel, Mexico.

The only REAL complaints I had were my experience two of the dining experiences. The first was in the main dining room when I ordered the ribeye steak dinner, and had to send it back twice because it wasn't cooked right. I ordered a medium-rare steak and got medium-well to well each time, but on the third attempt they sent a rare steak instead. This I believe is because the cut of steak they use is too thin and easy to overcook. I went ahead and ate it because at this point we had been there for 2 hours, but we never went back to the main dining room again. We also nearly walked out of the Izumi restaurant because the service was very slow, and it was noisy with tired and screaming kids/babies. I don't normally have a problem with that and will be very understanding of the reason, but it is a small and confined space, so the screaming was right on top of us it seemed. The main concierge in the restaurant caught us as we got up out of our chairs heading out, and fixed the slow service problem for us. Otherwise, I thought the sushi was good, though my wide didn't find it to be out-of-the-way good.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C1

Very clean, well-kept, and our room steward was spot-on!! The balcony was nice and very spacious, and we liked the amenities and perks that came with the room.
