7nt eastern Caribbean from ft lauderdale with stops in San Juan, St Thomas, St Martin.
Embarkation went pretty smoothly, we arrived at about 1230, were on the ship by 1. 8 ships were in port everglades that day so traffic was a bit hairy. Plenty of staff for check-in, photographers were not pushy, champagne and mimosas ready when boarding. Rooms were also ready when we got on the ship. We went to our room to drop our carry-on and met our room steward, he was very nice, and a silent room cleaning ninja throughout the week.
Cabin was very nice and clean. Location was excellent, just a few rooms forward of the front elevators. Balcony was pretty large, all furniture was in good shape. Bed was on the firm side, which we like, large assortment of pillows made finding the right one very easy. Only 3 drawers in the cabin is kind of challenging, but we made it work. Bed was near the balcony, which we haven't had in our past 12 sailings, but now prefer it. Television was a large for the room flatscreen, with a fairly smooth apple powered interactive feature for checking your bill and room service and other features. Channel selection was decent. Bathroom and shower were both very large and well appointed. Glass shower doors and decent size made things very easy. When we first looked in our shower there was a handheld shower head draped over the controls which i first thought was an addition. I figured out later in the day that the main fixed shower head had been disabled and the handheld was the only option. With no place to mount the handheld this made showering an unfavorable process. I then poked my head out of the cabin to see if my stateroom attendant was available, sure enough he was. I explained the situation to him and he said he would get maintenance right on it. When we returned from dinner it was fixed, handheld gone, fixed shower-head functional with excellent pressure and temperature.
Bed near balcony, unobstructed views forward and aft. Also unobstructed to the water. Window washing rail above deck 9 provides privacy from balcony's above.
