Sail Date: Jan 2017
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2C

Wanted to experience South America without flying to lots of different places ,packing and unpacking while adding on Buenos Aires ,Chile and Machu Pichu.

The ports we called at are not really geared up to modern day cruising which I suppose is understandable as fairly new to cruising ,but felt the locals could have made some effort into providing some local culture rather than selling tacky souvenirs .

If you want to see penguins and sea lions in the wild plus lots of different bird species then this is the cruise for you.

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2C

Cabin 2C

Bit small but very clean ,bed was very comfortable ,great views from balcony ,pick starboard if traveling from Buenos Aires to Santiago.

Port Reviews

Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires was a bit disappointing ,big city with the recoleta cemetery worth a visit .

Boca area was exciting but dangerous at night .

Palermo and recoleta best areas.

Montevideo

Took a taxi around the city and out to the old football stadium where first world cup held

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera)

This is a shabby town which needs cleaned up

Puerto Montt

Good day out ,very pretty town ,scenery and loved the snow capped volcanoes

Puerto Montt

Volcanoes spectacular
