I have enjoyed mostly every cruise on Holland. One of mine was not so good, but that was do to a typhoon from Russia that hit us after we stopped at Sitka. It was very scary and they chained the doors shut so no one would be foolish enough to go out and see the very high waves washing over the deck. That was the bad,, but no fault with Holland on everything else.

The latest one on the new Koningsdam was fantastic. The food was perfect in the dining room and on the buffet. I liked the way the buffet served with separate booths and employees serving everyone and not as much waiting as the old style standing in a line for all of us to serve ourselves. This new way made it very sanitary and prevented a lot of people getting sick as has been in the past.

The entertainment was the best I have seen on any cruise I have done, and this is my 37th cruise on many different lines including Holland since the 1980's. Read more
