We went on this cruise as part of a group, the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians. A huge disappointment was when we got there, they had given away our meeting room, where we were to hold continuing education, to another group. We ended up having to meet in a bar. It worked, but was not as promised and the staff seemed disinterested in fixing the situation. We were NOT offered any compensation.

. It is obvious that in increasing the size of the ship, the "little things" that make a cruse special are missing. Had we never gone on a cruise before, this would have been awesome. However, the little things are gone. Fewer food options in the large buffet areas, no more midnight buffets or beautiful ice sculptures. No snacks in the bar while having expensive cocktails, no robes in the rooms or tote to take on shore.

In general, the meals were good, the service friendly. The entertainment was great and scheduled well to coordinate with dinner. There was always a space to sit on deck by the pools, just took a little looking to find a chair. Lots of stuff for kids to do.

Cabin F

Typical small cabin with balcony. Nothing special.
