We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We had 10 adults and 3 children traveling. Don't listen to all of the bad reviews. The staff were very friendly throughout the ship.

The food was very good. We had the anytime dining, but we would request the same waiters each evening. I don't know how they can remember your personal preferences, such as extra butter, loved the mashed potatoes and they asked each night if I wanted them. My husband asked for extra ice cream with his melting chocolate cake and from them on it was always brought.

We were encouraged to set up a check in time. We had it set up for 2:30, but on the day of departure we decided to go to the port early and see if we could get on. We went over at 1:00 and walked right on. There was no one there! Our cabin was ready so we dropped off our carryon luggage and went to eat. We had our bathing suits on and were enjoying the pool and hot tubs by 2:30!

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We hired a taxi at the port to take us around the island for a tour. We had been to St Kitts 15 years ago and stayed at a resort. He took us there and several other places that we had visited in the past. Very nice day.

St. Maarten

If you want to shop for inexpensive t shirts and things this is your port! We got things 1/2 the price of the other islands.

St. Lucia

We hired a taxi at the port to take us on a tour. The roads were so winding that two us of, me being one, had to take Dramamine it was that bad! Beautiful island and I think my favorite for the experience of the views.

Barbados

We hired a taxi to take us on an island tour at the port. Approx. $20.00 per person for a 3 hour tour.

St. Thomas

We have been there 3 times before, so we spent very little time there and then back to the ship early to enjoy the pool.

San Juan

We went to San Juan a few days early and stayed at the Sheraton Old Town. Very nice hotel. The beds were amazing!! Staff very friendly. They have a great happy hour in the bar. We walked every where including to the port to check in.
