I choose this ship because at the time the sale was great and I needed to find something to do for my son's 15th Birthday.

There were mixed reviews about the size of the ship since it's the smallest from RC so we knew what we were getting into. The cabin was very small and it was the smallest we've ever had but we made the best if it for the four of us. We stood on the third deck and there was such a bad smell that the housekeeping tried covering it up with bleach which only made it worse. Since the rooms are so small we heard everything that went on the cabin beside us and I hardly slept. The channels on the tv were either in Spanish or French (not good) and if you were on the bunk bed there was not way for you to even see it, it wasn't mounted it was on a stand. The room steward was very shady in terms of not being sincere. This lady (completely forgot her name) had a lot to say about several passengers and that was very unprofessional. She had a job to that's why they hired her and even though the cabin was as clean as it can get the steward was too busy gossiping and put up a fake smile and once you turned the smile was gone.

The cruise director and the other staff were great especially in the dining room. We had two great servers one was Farhat and Viktor from Ukraine and they were very very good to us. The food was not horrible it was okay, however I had to send back out chicken on one of the nights because it was still pink (yuck) and so we had to ask for our chicken to be very well done otherwise you will see pink and the waiters along with the Manager were very understanding and brought us back the food really cooked. The food in the Windjammer for breakfast was always the same it never changed but it was okay. Lunch was good and I liked that they had several times for late snacks. During the Super bowl they had food out in the bar and poolside which was nice to have. Also in the Windjammer you has to wash your hands before entering, definitely liked that.
