HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My husband & I went with 40 other Realtors from NC & SC for a Continuing Education trip. We were supposed to be on a 5 day Bahama cruise but we were informed Tuesday night/Wednesday morning that the ship was delayed due to inclement weather, that was NOT what my forecast had in the Bahamas the previous weekend and the ship had been in DRY DOCK for multi million dollar renovations, I still can't see what they renovated, I was on this same ship in 1999 and have pictures and just about everything looks the same down to the carpeting. After sitting in a parking line for 4 hours we finally boarded around 7:30pm and left the port of Charleston somewhere after 11pm.

Our 1st SEA DAY was OK, then the pipes started rattling like someone was beating on them, you could NOT reach guest services on the phone and the line was forever if you went up there to the desk during the day so I finally got them on the phone at 2AM, they sent an officer to our cabin (M177) and the banging had ceased so the officer said he would find out and let us know, he tried to tell us it was the A/C unit running but my husband had turned that off earlier, we never heard from that officer again! I recorded & reported this "NOISE" 2 different times with NO results or help!

We ordered room service for breakfast so we could go ahead and get off the ship early Friday but never received our order so we went ahead and got off the ship. Thank god we could get off the ship in Nassau on Friday, our 1st stop, did some walking & shopping around town and ran into some other passengers that were having issues in their cabin as well. There were a lot of unhappy people on this ship! Once we got back on we went to the top deck and watched the sunset, that was beautiful.

Cabin Review

Cabin Ocean View???

King bed that was 2 twins slid together, hump in the middle, very uncomfortable! Pipes rattling the entire cruise, very unfortunate! Ocean view window was so nasty with rust and grime you couldn't see out of it! Cabin steward (Clive) was the BEST!!

Port Reviews

Nassau

Nice town but if you walk by the shops the sales people will want you to come on in. Senor Frogs is the best bar to party at in Port!

Charleston

Charleston is a great town to explore when you are waiting for your ship to come in. It is a very historic city rich in culture. I love walking around looking at the statues & plaques throughout the city. If you get a chance to ride a horse drawn carriage I highly suggest doing that too. And don't forget about the "Market", you can find some great things there too!
