This was my second time traveling with Carnival and I must say I was disappointed with the food compared to the first time I traveled with them about four years ago. We went on the seven day cruise departing from Miami. The food was mediocre. Guys burgers was very popular but I found it all to be so greasy, the tacos were disappointed as most of those having them found bones in the chicken tacos and were completely disgusted. The service in the dining room was excellent but the food again was mediocre and lacked much taste. I was so looking forward to delicious desserts but was disappointed by those as well as none really blew me away.

The ship was nice and clean. The cabin for us four was too small and uncomfortable. We had a queen bed and then to over the bed bunk beds but this was uncomfortable once they were set up in moving around. I wish they had set them up one bunk on top of the other.

The entertainment was good but not enough of it. Also we were traveling with a small child and an eight month old infant, the child would go to night camp but even though the baby was always asleep they would not allow us in to the adult comedy. I don't understand this since the infant is not going to understand anything and also was asleep as well.

Interior Upper/Lower

It was okay. I did not find the bed as comfortable as on my previous cruise. The bunk bed set up over the larger bed was uncomfortable.

Port Reviews

Belize City

We went to Old Town Belize and went to the Museum there which was great and the tour guide gave us a lot of history on Belize. This led us directly to a gift shop and then to the restaurant there, where we set by the ocean and enjoyed a nice lunch of fresh seafood. You can pay $10 and enjoy a small private beach area there as well which looked very nice. We didn't think it would be nice but if you plan ahead there is a lot to do there.

Cozumel

We took a taxi to SkyReef beach to go snorkeling. The beach has an entrance fee of $10. We were disappointed with the snorkeling there as we did not find a great variety of sea life, the drinks had barely any alcohol and the food (chicken tacos) had no taste. Next time I will go to another beach for snorkeling.
