I really don't know what ship some of the people with bad reviews went on....but it was certainly not the Majesty! I admit I was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but the minute I stepped foot on her, all worries were gone! Yes, she is an older ship, but she is very well maintained and most importantly, CLEAN! As far as a sewer smell...we only had a slight 'wiff' in Nassau and it was OUTSIDE of the ship...NO smell whatsoever INSIDE the ship.Inside cabin (6013) extremely small, but for 2 people it worked just fine (store your open luggage under the bed and use it as a drawer :) Very clean and quiet...we never did hear the 'neighbors'.

Food at the Windjammer, Café, and Sorentos...All excellent as always! Staff very happy and upbeat and always cleaning your table. Entertainment such as; comedian Dan Gilbert, the RC dancers, Flag Ceremony, Farewell show....all excellent!! We did miss Coco Cay as the seas were a little rough that day...bummer, but...they kept the party going inside....complete with the signature Coco Locos in the pineapples :) Towards evening they reduced the price from $10.50 for one to $5 for TWO ( buy one get one free)!! Royal Caribbean is top notch...they feel just as bad as you when it comes to missing a port, but safety is #1. They definitely have a plan B and keep the party going...I really don't understand the bad reviews...this is a 3 night (or 4) get-a-way that doesn't break the bank and gives you a few days of R&R! Go ahead and book this cruise, you will be glad you did!!

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Yes, it is true that this ship has very small rooms, but who stays in their room on a cruise? I traveled with my daughter and we both agreed it was a nice and clean room. Open your luggage and put it under your bed and use it as a drawer :) Bathroom area was standard cruise size...again, clean and well maintained for its 20+ years of age. This room is very close to the front of the ship...very quiet and no ship movement felt. Need a little light, or want to know the weather outside...turn the tv to the bridge channel :)

Port Reviews

Nassau

Skip the straw market (China junk stamped Bahamas) and get a beachside massage ($25 for 20 minutes) then head over to Paradise Island and walk around the beautiful Atlantis. ($4 each way either by vehicle taxi or water taxi). Go later in the day (4 or after) and if your lucky the staff at Atlantis will let you walk thru the grounds without a pass...we were able to see the aquarium, sharks, and sting ray exhibits for FREE!!
