Despite the fact that I have been cruising since 2000, I don't write reviews. But I felt it was important for me to do so here, as this ship has such a low overall rating which is undeserved.
The ship- we originally booked, an ocean view and by changing our dates, we got an upgrade to a veranda. I noticed that the other ships in the Galapagos such as the National Geographic lacked any balconies, and that Celebrity just has a few. The cabin is generously sized, although short on storage for those on our trip who brought large suitcases! There are two closets with hangers and a few drawers in the vanity, in addition to the underbed ones. The bathroom is a good enough size, with marble finishes and plenty of shelves for toiletries. The bedding is very comfortable, but the climate control for many of the cabins, is not good. Ask your cabin steward to help, if it is not to your liking. Some of us just asked for extra blankets.
