We decided to take this cruise out of Charleston SC because we have two children and being from North Carolina it was easier for us to get to..... That being said i think thats the only positive.
We recieved a phone call from carnival the night before that the ship was going to be late and to come 5 hours later than scheduled. We get down ther 5 hours later we were denied entry to the parking lot for about an hour and a half. Once we get in the cattle shoot of the entry to the parking lot we were stuck for 2 hours with no answers why we had to wait and were still not allowed to park and get through security. We finally get on the ship about 9:00pm (they were schedled to take off at 4:00) and we didnt have time to eat dinner before the muster drill. Once we left the capitan was going at full spped ahead, causing severe cases of people getting sea sick.
The second day we were told we received $15 per adult and $7.80 per child (who we paid adult price)for the delay... Wow dont hurt yourselves. Everyone was upset.
We loved having breakfast at TOAST
Went to the pirate museum and had a blast.
