We're Platinum members; this was our 9th cruise on Princess; 27th cruise overall. On the positive side we saw lots of whales and had good tours. Food was good, Zumba classes were good; beds and couches in the minisuite were comfortable. And then there's the rest.

Cruise started badly as we had confirmed 6 PM fixed dining; at Check-in we got 5:30 dining! We were told there was only 5:30 and 8 pm confirmed dining. We changed to Anytime Dining -- ha ha. Door opens at 5:30; we were last in at 5:45, having arrived at 5:15; people behind us were told they had an hour wait or more. I ordered a bottle of wine; not available. I ordered a 2nd bottle of wine; not available. I asked for complimentary glass from the maitre d'; he said NO! Finally relented when I complained. The ship had not yet set sail! Show was standing room only 15 min prior to when it started; we left. Toilets overflowing at theater restroom. Ship had not set sailed.

Decided on a soda beverage card after most of the promotions were done for the day, but told you could get them at any bar. It took THREE bars before we got one.
