Our first cruise to the Carribean. Good start to 2017. Ship was lovely with the Christmas trees , garlands, lights. Glass lifts. Really nice to look at. Cabin was on 3rd deck and was fine nice and clean and always nice to go back to after Max the cabin stewart had been in.
Food was good. Breakfast was usually in Islands Restaurant . Alway busy but cannot expect it to be any different from other self-service restaurants. Best eating places wa definately 47. Table service excellent by Allan and Rudi who welomed us with a smile and we enjoyed our hats with them. Twice we tried 47 Gallery / Italian. Sorry to say we did not enjoy the food as much as 47. Menu not great. Service was disappointing and not many happy looking waiters.. This is why we choe 47 as it was so much more enjoyable, better atmosphere.
Entertainment , sadly to say was very disappointing. We have been on several Thomson cruise ships and and the entertainment on the Dream ,Spirit and Majesty was by far so much better. Broadway shows not the same. After reading reviews and speaking to some people on the cruise we all had the same comments. This is a bigger ship and I hope Thomson/Tui take on board how there valued customers felt with the change in there entertainment . We go with Thomson as we have always had great times onboard their other ships. Think some people might go elsewhere.
no problem with cabin. Deent enough size.
