My wife and i cruise every thanksgiving. we chose this one for time and for port. we had sailed on the magic earlier in the year (october) and really enjoyed it, some coming back was pretty cool. the cruise director was very good entertainer, if not a bit impressed wit himself. the service staff was fantastic as always! the down points were the long lines for mangolian wok and debarkation was amongst the slowest i have experienced. the entertainment offered was good and the dj's played well. we enjoy dancing on the lido, etc. And they get that in fairly well. the ship is very seaworthy and rocks and rolls a minimum amount. i am former navy and was very impressed by the captain. he was one of the more well spoken captains i have encountered as his english was good. he also seemed to stress keeping the guests informed, which i appreciated.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Best embarkation port i have experienced.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Best to stay close to the boat in my opinion. We traveled out and were a bit disappointed.
