Got a pretty good deal on a 4 night cruise - Key West + Cozumel + day at sea (about $330 per person including all taxes, before gratuities). I've done Celebrity Alaska cruise and Norwegian Bahamas cruise in the past, so those are my comparison points.

The food was good, but not as good as I expected from my past cruises. I learned on and after this trip that Carnival is the somewhat more budget cruise line. Dining room selections were good, but the premium dishes required a $20 upcharge (filet mignon or lobster, etc.). Lobster tail was usually always available in the past cruises I went on. Room service had a limited menu - mostly just sandwiches. This also had an upcharge section (wings and other stuff were like $5). According to the room service menu, I couldn't even order a cheeseburger. There was a Mongolian Wok in the cafeteria which was decent, but always long lines. 24 hour froyo and soft serve was nice. Made-to-order pizza available 24 hours, but always a long wait, so I never got to try it.

Service was hit or miss. Many wait staff had poor attitudes, and they often seemed to be short staffed. Sat down for brunch in the dining room and had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even approached our table. But other staff members were very good.
