A birthday cruise with 7 neighbors, all with poor reviews….so many people..too many kids…had to get reservations for everything..standby line never worked…frustrating cruise…a rat race.had to pay extra for anything..even a bandade cost 50 cents,..we had an inside cabin, which was tiny. The couch in the room was very tired, and DIRTY.never sat on it..gross.Had a tall surly man as cleaning staff..never cleaned the toilet area, never vacuumed the room..strange..my 2 other cruises elsewhere didn't have these problems. The ship itself was a beauty..the Captain was very competent …we had a very rough first 2 days at sea,and he made the decision not to stop in Nassau,as wind/wave conditions were too challenging..very professional. The dining room staff were pretty good,in general. The shows at night were good,if you reserved ahead of time..good thing we did this before our cruise. All in all,we won't be setting foot on another ship this large, and will read reviews before booking again. It won't be with RCL..It took an hour and a half to get on the ship, and…the last group to get off..an hour and a half to get off..that was the final kick in the butt from RCL..NEVER AGAIN…….absolute chaos.
