We received this cruise from our local casino. We stayed at the Homewood Suites Friday night prior to the cruise. Nice hotel and we got to see the rocket launch. The hotel had a shuttle to the port for $5. The arrival time assigned to us was 9:30 - 10:00. Embarkation could not have been easier. We sailed right through and sat in the waiting area until 11:30. We got on the ship and ate at the buffet at the pool. The hamburgers are really good!! We were able to get in our rooms by 4:00.

Unpacking....I have to say...I was still finding storage spaces on the last day. There is a pink card in the room that has some tips for storage. We had a mid ship balcony configured with the bed near the balcony side of the room. THis seemed to be the better of the 2 setups. OUr cabin number was 11232 and our steward was Mario.

I will tell you all of the storage areas I remember. There is a drawer/bin under the sink for your towels after your shower. There is a drawer next to where the Kleenex are. The mirror above the sink opens for storage. There is a light switch under the mirror for the sink area. Then there is the closet with the mirror on it. That is easy to find. THen the rounded part past the closet opens and the room safe is there. There is a light switch under that cabinet. The hair dryer is in the area where the stool slides under.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

We had no problem with the cabin. It was a little tight when we both were moving around. The bathroom configuration was fine for us. There is a lot of storage. They were really creative with that. Just keep exploring and you will find it all
