Was excited to be trying a new ship. Embarkment out of Miami was great. Quick and efficient. Wasn't sure how I would like the new system with them leaving your sign and sail card in your mailbox but it seemed to work well. First thing I noticed when we entered the atrium was there was NO wow factor. The room looked small. I like the Miracle type ships where you can see up a couple of floors and have the elevators running up and down. This atrium looked small because of the ceiling. I did like the fact the bar was completely round.

Things I liked/loved....New Carnival hub app is very good. Gives you all the daily activities, your sign and sail account info...sets reminders for shows you want to see...you can see all your pictures you took and purchase though the app. Only thing I didn't like about the app was they didn't have the dinner menu on there so you can view it. They also no longer have it on the TV in the cabin although I was told they are working on that.

Photos...BRAVO BRAVO...Finally got it right. Everything is now digital AND they use face recognition. You take a selfie in the app and it will scan for all the pictures you took. The photo gallery has computers everywhere so you can just pull up your pics and pick and choose. No more hunting for your photos. They also give you more options for purchases like 5X7, 8X10, wallets...etc..

Cabin 4H

Standard inside cabin but they seemed to try and make it bigger by taking out some of the storage space. You have 2 closets with 3 draws on one side. You basically have to hang everything up.
