I have sailed with NCL a few times before as well as other cruise lines, this was one of my favorite cruises, (I'm currently booked for the Breakaway in July 2017.
We had the specialty dining package and ate at a different restaurant 6 nights, the food was amazing. We went to the dining room for dinner one night, the food was fine, but didn't compare with the specialty dining, was also disappointed that in the complimentary dining, they had some items that you had to pay more for. Went to buffet once and that was enough. I didn't care for the food, so we breakfast every day in the dining room and the food was good, although, the service wasn't consistent (waiting for refills of coffee or forgetting to bring juice). Some servers were better than others. The entertainment was great. The cruise director was fantastic. My 10 year old son loved the Splash Academy and went there every day.
Bermuda was beautiful, went to Horseshoe bay beach on a excursion. Next time, though, we may just hop in a cab to the beach.
Cabin steward was nice, but not as overly attentive as were used to on other cruise lines. He did make towel animals on 1 or 2 nights, but disappointed that it was not done more, also I had to ask for refills (bathroom tissue, shampoo)
We were still able to see the sunrise through our cabin even with the obstruction. We would stay in this type of cabin again.
