Previous recommendations. But the crew made the journey and experience of a lifetime. This was our 3rd Viking Cruise. The people on board from the Captain down were one of the most engaging and interacting we have seen. Our tour director was with use from the pre trip through our post trip. She was helpful, funny, and so hard working. The food as always was excellent and the staff remembered our names and what we preferred to eat and drink. The shared personal stories when asked that made the trip special. We were all there together. Our room was well appointed and immaculate at all time. The excursions were well thought out. The exception was an extra that we paid for in Prague, the Palace with lunch and concert. The meal was mediocre and the palace itself dark. As for the artwork, not world class and needs a lot of restoration (I guess thus the high price) also the walk up to the palace was too strenuous for some. We almost lost a guest who was having heart problems. We were not warned ahead of time. Would not recommend this to anyone. Not up to Viking standards.
The extensions and the cruise was worth every penny. I do believe it is the staff that makes the trip what it is. The one we took to Easten Europe while the cruise was nice the crew was not up to par. We were a little wary after that, but this trip was way way beyond and so we will do another trip.
Immaculate! Well appointed nice space good viewing. It was October so we did not waste money on a room with balcony (which is smaller) as the weather was not conducive to sit outside. Would do this room again.
