Enjoy cruising on Royal Caribbean, we are diamond members although we had never cruised in a ship as big as Freedom of the Seas. 5 people were killed at Fort Lauderdale airport the day before we were flying to the cruise, and our flights got cancelled at the last minute. We ended up buying some crazy overpriced tickets on American Airlines to get us there in time.

The rough I mentioned mainly described the seas that week as we were not able to stop at Labadee due to the high seas. A cold front seemed to follow us the entire cruise. I also mentioned it was rough do to much of the poor service we got in the dining room. I could go into detail, but we actually asked to change tables because it was so bad. The new table had friendly people and a good waiter, so we were very glad we made the change.

As Diamond members we typically go to the Diamond lounge during happy hour. We were staying on the 10th floor in a Jr Suite, and on the first day we saw the door open to the Concierge lounge. We stopped in, had a drink met some really nice people, and then a gentleman named Raul asked to see our Sea Pass card and Kicked us out of the concierge room even though the double diamond folks we were talking to pleaded with him to allow us to stay. We then went to the 14th floor Diamond lounge where we were supposed to be, which had all the exact same stuff and then some. We laugh about it now, if you are familiar with Gilmore girls, Raul reminded us of Michelle from the Inn.

We liked the bathtub and beds/bedding, There was rust in the bathroom by the door, and railing on the balcony was very poorly finished and needed to be redone. The view was partially blocked by supports, but still
