We did not like their freestyle dining; would have preferred a set time for dinner so we can get to know the wait staff. Food in the dining room was good, but not great. The buffet was as expected...everything cold. For breakfast and lunch, go to Taste Restaurant instead. Food was very good in the extra-cost rooms: Cagney’s, Teppanyaki, and Moderno Churrascaria. O’shannons was good for a snack.
No problem with embarkation, except our suitcases were not delivered until 8 pm.
Two major shows were R/X rated, so we skipped them. We enjoyed the magic demonstration; tried two comedians who were not funny and very immature. The guitar player was very good. One comment about all the programs: snip’s staff shouted, way too loud.
Cabin is very tight; two people cannot pass each other. Every room has a curved side, which lessens space. i don't know who designed the placement of the shower, toilet and sink, but he should be tossed overboard. As you enter the room, the toilet is in the right with sliding opaque glass around it. on the left is the shower with sliding opaque glass around it; the sink is in the room. The toilet is loud (imagine a jet engine) woe to the person trying to sleep in the adjacent bed. mattress was very comfortable. some of the light switches were hidden and we had to call to find out where they were. our canin steward was magnificent.
The great stirrup cay was very crowded. Very disturbing was after getting 2 cups of water at the bar, she went back for a 3rd and was told that water was not potable…but she could walk 100’ and buy a bottle of water for $3 something.
