Sail Date: Jan 2017

I chose this cruise to celebrate my birthday which I do every year. The price was right and thats why I chose this particular ship.

The Empress of the seas was recently refurbished, but it shows its age. The cabin is still very small in contrast to todays standards, but its still a beautiful ship thats small and does not feel crowded.

Dining was a hit and miss. Most food was usually cold by the time it got to the table and the coffee was bad most of the time. The only great thing on Royal Caribbean was the lobster night on sailings of 5 nights or more.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside

Way too small for two people. Cabin a/c was not adjustable due to problems beyond maintenance control. Room security box kept braking needing maintenance constantly.
