Many times Azamara passenger. Latest experience/s on 'Journey' showed the brand is still strong particularly in its Hotel Services. The waiter and cabin services are still very good. The ship's guest service information is excellent. Captain 'Magnus' was very informative and keep all guests up to speed with voyage information. Our cruise was completely full and, being a small ship on rainy days when the pool deck is unavailable, it is hard to find a 'private' space other than ones cabin but the 'room' service is great if staying in the cabin. The visiting entertainment was very good but some of the guest lecturers were uninspiring/bland particularly on Asian history. However one lecturer on movies and Hollywood was most interesting. The Azamara Evenings were well planned and executed as were the embarkations. However one Land Excursion to Singapore Zoo was disappointing due to the unorganised guide and it definitely was not value for money. As for ship's activities they are average and really need updating. I noted, on a couple of occasions, the same 'trivia' questions were read out - so it seems little prep is given to updating daily activities; also the 'standard' entertainment 'Xmas Show' 'voices' 'Broadway' etc need revamping. Even the Cruise Director still reading the 'same' jokes is a sign that things don't change much in that department.

Overall still a good experience and value for money for 'boutique' cruising but some tweaking may be needed in some areas.
