Me and my wife tried this 4-day cruise again after a while. Embarkation and disembarkation went pretty well. Cabin was nice, but lots of children noise from outside. Shower knobs are a little confusing. The service was good, main showroom musical entertainment was average, but stand up comedy was good. The ship was fairly clean and food was plenty but average. Lots of extra charges, including corkage, behind the scene tour of the ship, the captain reception was a joke; no free drinks or anything. My favorite decks were 9th floor Promenade with live band and 10th with pool and buffet restaurant. Overall the cruise was a good value. Since we visited the ports before, no shore excursions were taken. My suggestion: allow plenty of commute time to reach the ship better to reserve your check in time early, so you can find your cabin and catch the lunch, otherwise it will be selected for you the night before the sailing.

Los Angeles

We're from LA; no need to take an excursion.

Catalina Island (California)

Had a nice walk.

Ensenada

Walked to the main drag. Bought a perfume cheaper than US.
