My husband and I were introduced to the best food and wine offered by Bordeaux and the port towns we visited. VIking offered great excursions, wine tastings and food pairings. The local guides were personable and knowledgeable about the area. We were given plenty of ideas for our free time. The chateaux we visited were varied in size and sophistication of wine making facilities-So interesting because we are also winemakers.

Our room was nicely decorated, compact, but well appointed. The ship was lovely. Food on board was yummy and the house wine was geared to each area we visited. The people sailing with us were so interesting. We made a point to sit with different people each night.

The nighttime activities were enjoyable and varied from opera to trivia night. Lorin kept us informed of each day's activities and times. All the Forseti staff, the Captain, the Chef, dining room waiters, front desk, room stewards were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our second cruise on Viking and look forward to our next one.

Clean, well appointed and comfy. The elevator did not go to the floor we were on. We needed to use the stairs.
