We have never cruised with Norwegian, always RC or Princess. Norwegian's Pride of America's itinerary was exactly what we wanted to see the Hawaiian islands. As mentioned, we were pleased with our cabin and cabin staff throughout the cruise. We have never gotten on a ship to find out our room wasn't ready. We boarded at 3:00 instead of noon, thankfully because I room wasn't ready until 4:00. While we waited for our room we took advantage of the time to get familiar with the ship. Lots of painters tape throughout the ship's rails outside so we assumed it had been painted that morning. NOPE, it was still there 5 days in to the cruise. There were lots of other things that made the ship feel dirty to me other than the constant spraying of hand disinfectant every time you turned the corner near the buffet.

Entertainment: The comedian and Oh What a Night was very enjoyable. The cruise team desperately needs some singing improvements. The dancers worked their tails off to improve the show.

Food: WAS BAD. As mentioned in other's reviews, the food on the buffet is better than in the dining room. One night we went to the Skyline for dinner because they had beef wellington on the menu. To our laughable surprise when it came it was a slice of beef wellington, not a steak, a slice with 1/8 of a cooked potato sadly laying beside it. We have NEVER cruised and not received a full steak and a full potato. It was like if you didn't go to the pay restaurants you were on rations. Shrimp risotto came with two shrimp....and I'm not saying jumbo. It was ridiculous. The desserts were nothing like we were accustomed to; cakes were dry, anything with cream tasted like egg, nothing creamy more grainy. Just plain bad food. Coffee and coffee cups were constantly "out" on the buffet with groves of people waiting to attack the staff when they finally brought both. More than once on multiple floors outside it reaked of septic, and on one afternoon there was NO water on the ship for 4 hours. No water period in the cabin. Never Norwegian again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our cabin once we finally got allowed in it.
