Dining: The food was AMAZING! There were three choices for an appetizers, main course and dessert done in a local style every night. The menu also had more simple fair like steak and chicken for those that weren't able or interested to try local fare.
The staff on the boat made you feel very welcome. There were major delays on the road the day we arrived. We were many hours late arriving on the boat. The staff were busy with dinner but the bar tender happened past and went out of his way to get staff for us and showed us to our cabin himself. He also made sure we well fed and comfortable when we were finally ready to join the rest of the guests.
The fitness and recreation was mostly on the top level of the ship. There is a walking track and a few small games. We found that we got more than enough exercise on our daily adventures.
The cabin is very small compared to a hotel room but very smartly appointed. We stayed in a french balcony room which gave us an excellent window and even though it was November we kept the door open to enjoy the view. The boat it so well appointed that we didn't stay in our cabin long so we didn't really find the room that constraining. Once we unpacked we really felt at home. Our three day post trip had us staying at the Paris Pullman hotel and compared to the boat we found the hotel disappointing.
