Embarkation and disembarkation both went very smoothly. The ship didn't look aged as I thought it would. It was actually a very beautiful, well-kept ship. The food was AMAZING in the MDR. The service was the best I've had on Royal Caribbean. Our stateroom attendant and dining room waiter went above and beyond to ensure we were having the best trip, even if only for three nights. The cruise was so personal that an activity staff member said goodbye to me by first name as we disembarked. The public restrooms were actually very pretty. We did stay in an outside view room in 2008 on the 2nd floor. They are small as everyone says. However, all we did was sleep there, so we didn't care at all. This trip was so relaxing that it made 3 nights feel like a week away from the stress and bustle of life. The live music was great. The band on the pool deck just sounded like vacation. The piano player in the Schooner Bar was incredible. He drew a packed bar every night on board. The Johnny Rocket's is well worth the $6.95 cover charge. The burgers were delish and they just kept bringing on the food! This trip was perfect and we would absolutely take the Majesty again for a short getaway.
Our room was on the edge of the hallway right next to the door that they use for people coming on and off the ship. I think it was used for crew members. It was small (as everyone says about staterooms on Majesty), but we only used it to sleep so we never felt cramped. We had no issue fitting ourselves, 2 backpacks, and 2 carry-on luggage pieces in the room/closet. Would not have a problem booking this cabin again.
Marked just as average because we did not go on any excursion in Orlando.
