We've done many cruises on Celebrity, including on the Reflection. We'll go again. Celebrity has a very good mix for people our age, retirees.

However, I can note that there have been no improvements that I can point out, and some significant detriments.

We've always like Bistro on Five, where fresh crepes are served (and sandwiches on other ships). We disliked the increasing price, which was $5 years ago. Not only was the priced raised, but Bistro on Five is no more. It is now Sushi on Five.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Verandah 2C

Cabin 2C

Our cabin had a partially obstructed view. This was our first time to try this, and it was no problem at all. You could see 100% of the view over a span of about 20% of the balcony. The other 80% was restricted by a lifeboat on the left, and a room that jutted out on deck 5. You could always see to the horizon though. It was not a problem, and we would do it again for the right price (as in this case).

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Nicely developed port area, a big plus from the old days when the ship docked a half mile from the town.

San Juan

Always fun shopping and wondering the old town, which is adjacent to the port.

Miami

Nothing special, and nothing near the port.
