Overall, the 7-day cruise from Galveston onboard Carnival Freedom from January 7-14, 2017, was poor.

Due to a strong cold front, the first day and a half of the cruise from Galveston to Cozumel was very cold (near zero to 10 degrees celsius) and very windy. This made using any of the pools or “sun” decks impossible. This is not the fault of the cruise line and we accept the fate from Mother Nature.

However, every other bad experience aboard this cruise IS the fault of Carnival Cruise Line:

Premium Balcony

The door to the balcony did not close completely, so you heard a constant squealing noise like what you hear in a fast moving car when a window is not completely closed.
