Cabin 8B

Love the cabin. Very stable and we felt very little movement.

Issue: You are above the casino. No smell of smoke and you do not hear people talking or the machines.

However, the woman making the late night announcements might be very clear to hear. We could hear the dollar amounts/last draw/her counting down and occasionally the same dumb song over and over again.

We ran into this 3/6 nights and we did not complain early enough. Get dressed and go down and complain to guest services immediately and everytime it happens. You might help future guests.

Deck six is a very good and convenient deck. We really did love this cabin...

Port Reviews

Nassau

Should have taken an excursion tour.. otherwise a little disappointing. The guys in the horse drawn carriages - Some horses have sores and some of the drivers are very sparse in their tour/city commentary.

Water tower/fort - best view off the city.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

We took the excursion of the one hour city tour and beach.

SKIP IT - One hour city tour is a tour to a gift shop and not really a factory

Beach - take a taxi and get there early

Ziplines are great.

Grand Turk

Best port. Private tour for snorkeling "Wet Money" check them out on FB. These guys really try and care about your experience. Small but good boat.

Beaches are great.

Eat at Margaritaville - hang out there the last few hours you have. It is great

The place down the beach is okay for a drink. Nice people at this place which is called something like Tar Shack or Bar. Just didn't want to eat there.
