We loved Viking river cruises, and decided to experience their ocean cruise. We visited nine different islands, one each day, and cruised overnight. While a few hours on each island were not sufficient to see everything, we saw the highlights that time allowed. Our cabin was the best of all our other 25 cruises and the bathroom was spacious with a huge glass door shower. The heated floor was really nice. Since the ship is new, everything was beautiful. We visited the specialty restaurants, and were pleased with the variety of selections on the buffet. We didn't use the spa or fitness area, but we did visit them to see what was offered. The lounges were very welcoming and comfortable. The main pool area was never crowded and was a great place to relax. The vocalists were very talented and we didn't miss big theater productions at all. Having a self-serve laundry allowed us to bring home a suitcase full of clean clothes. The staff was helpful, friendly and excellent. Great trip!
