We travelled with Ryanair from Prestwick to Stockholm NYO. Good on time service with no frills. Direct bus to Stockholm bus terminus cost £16 each return & took 80 mins. Stayed 2 nights at Hilton Sleussen which was very convenient for Stockholm sightseeing. Rooms are very small but well fitted. Breakfast was very good & overall we felt it was excellent value for money (£69 per night via Hilton website) Stockholm is a very beautiful city with lots to see & do.The Royal Palace is a must see Only complaint was taxi fares which were very expensive & inconsistent in charges. On Friday morning we took bus from bus stop across road from heck in was a breeze. 10 mins from door to ship. Our cabin was an inside cabin 2705. Close to elevators & stairs & very quiet. We never heard a sound in the corridors.Cabin was small but for 4 nights was more than adequate. This is one of RCI's oldest ships but is still looking very good. Public rooms are bright & spacious.Shopping area was quite large compared to similar sized ships.Dining room was very bright & inviting. Viking Crown Lounge : we could not stay in this room due to smell of stale cigarette smoke . We also noted stale cigarette smell in one area of casino & on one side of pool deck. I cannot understand why ships do not create well vented smoking rooms (like cigar rooms in some hotels) with bars etc. For safety if not just for passanger comfort I think this needs to be done. Meals in Windjammer were very good with good selections at breakfast & lunch. This is possibly the best lunch selection I have had on any ship. We had breakfast in dining room twice & again good selection & prompt service. For dinner we chose My Time dining & selected our preferred dining time each day by calling them between 8 & 12 each morning. Never waited long for a table & found service over all to be very prompt. Entertainment was not up to usual RCI standard (we were on Mariner of the Seas last year) First production show Boogie Nights was not the best I'd seen Second production show based on broadway hit's was much better. Magician was good as was juggler. Introduction by Cruise Director was a bit drawn out & having to listen to it again in Swedish was a bit of a drag.

Overall this was a lovely short cruise to places we would not otherwise have visited. Most passengers were from Sweden or Norway. Age group was very young with lots of families & groups. No Concierge lounge on this ship (big miss!) however they did have a Platinum & Diamond members party that also included Suite guests. We found everyone to be well mannered & courteous. Would definately go again
