Viking River Cruise provides an excellent experience. The Viking Idi is a very nice river cruise boat. The staff provides great, friendly service. The included excursions are very good. Food on the cruise was very good with various options. We travelled with two other couples and the staff was very accommodating in allowing all of us to go in the same group for the excursions. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent and I'd did not take them long to remember our names and favorite drinks.

All of the included excursions were very well organized with friendly local English speaking tour guides. We also included the before and after add-on stays in Amsterdam and Lucerne. There was always Viking staff at the hotels who were very helpful while we were there. The hotels offered for these extensions were very nice, especially the Okura in Amsterdam.

This was our first ever river cruise but certainly won't be our last. Viking certainly has this figured out and we would highly recommend them to everyone!!?
