Love the Silhouette. Parking in the mid-port garage was no problem when we arrived about 11:30. Embarkation was quick and easy, although there was a problem with the cameras taking pass card photos, they cleared the backup quickly. This was our 2nd Silhouette cruise so we hit the ground running without the normal 1st afternoon of getting your bearings. Beautiful ship and wonderful staff! The crew work very hard to make it sparkle, and always greet you whenever/wherever you see them. This was our 3rd voyage with Captain Pepas-and the trip was smooth as glass again! Our back corner Sky Suite was wonderful. Our veranda curved around the back so we had views of both the back and side. Our butler Rodney, and stateroom attendant,Paz, took such good care of us, and never failed to provide excellent service. We really enjoyed talking to them. Michael's was a really nice suite perk, and Cranston makes a great Margarita. Dining in Luminae was really special, 5 star service. Being able to sit down in a real restaurant the first day for lunch was a pleasure. No crowds like in the Oceanview cafe that we usually have. Because we were traveling with other friends, we ate 2 nights in the MDR and the food and service were very good. The beef tenderloin the last night in the MDR was one of the best steaks I've ever had, as good as any I've had in the Tuscan Grill or Murano! Entertainment was as good as always, especially the aerialists in the production show. Since we've been to the Bahamas before, we choose to stay onboard to enjoy the ship with smaller crowds. Our sea day was busy, and, as expected, there were still issues with no lounges available due to inconsiderate chair hogs, but that, unfortunalty is nothing new.Disembarkation went well. We will definitely sail again on Silhouette-soon I hope!

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

Can't wait to go back-it was a great cabin with great big veranda, plenty of room, and the private access door made us feel like rock stars! Although the price for a longer cruise is likely out of reach for me, if you can afford the price, I highly recommend this cabin.
