We have taken 3 previous European riverboat trips with other vendors & we had heard good things about Viking, so we decided to try it. Our previous trips had single beds on opposite sides of the room, while Viking provided a queen sized bed. We had a small balcony with a table & chairs & a wonderful view. The meals were excellent as were the wines they served. We were treated better by all personnel than we ever thought possible. There was always something to do in the evening evening including classes, discussions and various kinds of entertainment. I particularly liked the piano player in the lounge who played during lunches & dinner - very soothing and a very nice touch. Finally, the furnished tours & optional tours were educational and delightful. I can't think of a single thing to improve upon the experience. It was well worth the expense.
