We initially were going on the rhine getaway but due to surgery had to postpone. This was our second choice but so glad we chose it! All venues/tours were outstanding. That said, we didn't enjoy Versailles - it was just too incredibly crowded. The entire staff of the rinda was fantastic. The food was spectacular! We upgraded to the silver spirits package just to avoid the hassle of a tab and enable us to have top shelf spirits. We took advantage of every tour offered but paid for a couple extras. We had little "down time" but that was okay - the evening cocktail hour and dinners made up for it. We kept a journal while there and picked up books at venues....lourve, giverney, etc. so we will be able to revisit our fun times. Be sure you layer your clothing. We were cooler than anticipated. We plan to cruise again with Viking....maybe an ocean cruise..

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Overall, the cabin was great, although the bed was too hard for me to get a good night's sleep. My husband is 6'4" and I'm 5'1" so we managed to navigate. Incredibly glad that we got the suite - otherwise, we would have been miserable..
