Viking Ocean Cruise 2016 Review

We have been on the Baltic Viking cruise, we were familiar with the Viking philosophy. We liked the itinerary so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We have booked another Ocean Cruise next year. The ship is very well laid out, we never walked into a lounge or other room and felt crowded. The included excursions were not a good as we had experience in Europe. The optional recommended excursions tended to be better. The Americas Cup race in St. Martan was fabulous. The embarkation disembarkation process was painless and swift, the most efficient we have experienced.

The food was varied and uniformly excellent, whether you choose to eat in the World Cafe or the Restaurant (no reservations necessary) or the more intimate specialty restaurants such as Manfredi's or the Chefs Table (reservations required). We also enjoyed have Norwegian breakfasts at Mamsen's in the Explorers Lounge. Waffle with brown goat cheese!! Yummy!!The spa was well equipped and featured hot and cold pools and a snow room. Very Scandinavian!
