We choose the cruise because of the history of the area, France, Germany and Amsterdam. The ship was very new and well laid out. The boat, known as Kara, itself was beautiful and well laid out. Our accommodations were very nice and well decorated. The crew kept them spotless each day.

The dining was always excellent. We could not have had a better crew for service. They took care of our every want for food, drinks and entertainment!

The ports and shore excursions kept us very busy. Each day we saw another part of either France or Germany, saw the local area and met local people. The guides were all very good at their jobs giving us a taste of the local area and its history and people. That is what we were looking for. Whether it was the cheese making tour, the "beer crawl in Strasburg, the our where the Battle of the Bulge took place or the Cathedral Notre Dame, the adventure and activity was very well planned and laid out.
