Usually I go on an annual cruise with my best friend and her family. my hubby does not cruise . we stayed in M122. I knew the room would be small but sufficient for two people. all ports had beautiful weather. I stayed on the boat for Nassau as I am not a fan of this port and enjoyed some me time sunbathing.food and wait service were very good. the selection was great and service was excellent.the boat may be a little outdated but improvements have been made since the last time I was on it 9/16/13. a small ship may not have all the amenities as a larger ship, but it is still a lot of fun. my complaints are minor.the drink service in the casino was very limited, first cruise where I wasn't asked if I wanted a drink at all. toilet in room did not flush well during the cruise. prefer the gift shops on the larger boats
shows ere very good and the cruise director was one of the best I ever encountered. can't say enough about my steward, Eric!
heard complaints about the ship while on the bus to MIA. they seemed petty and not really accurate. people confuse rust on the deck with dirt as well as worn tile. their deck was probably due for repainting, but ours was fine. I seldom use the public bathrooms, but they were clean when I used one. yes, i had to buy an inexpensive necklace for formal night and help was limited. I asked one staffer for help, a little snotty. it was the first time I ever ran into that. I am platinum & have taken a lot of Carnival cruises.
nice yet small cabin. steward was one of the best ever. thanks, Eric! room was clean and compact. toilet had to be flushed several times, most uses.
