I guess I was expecting more out of HAL. I thought it was the luxury cruise line. We did board the ship very fast in Florida except our key card to the room did not work. Had to go to the main office to fix it. We waited around an hour so the line would clear up. None of the key cards worked on the sixth level. I thought the ship was in fairly good condition. The first couple of days the back splash pool didn't have water for some reason. The bar tender working back there told us there that it wasn't supposed to have water. It was clearly a ankle deep pool and should of had water. I think it was the third day when they finally filled it. The lido pool and the retreat were always packed and hard to find a spot. Had to get there early to get one. It was also hard to tell if someone was sitting at the chairs or not. Some people don't know how to take their towels off the chair when they leave them. Neither does the staff. Most of the staff didn't seem to excited to be there. It felt like this was there last cruise before they went on vacation. The best bartenders work at Oceans. Ralando is a great bartender. The Dive In grill should of had longer orders. The pizza place was good and had better hours. The Lido food was nothing special. The salads was the best food in the Lido. The main dinning was nothing to brag about either. I think there should have been more options. Our room was fine, no complaints there. We were traveling with two 16 year old and the teen club didn't work out like the other cruise lines we have been on. Very unorganized and didn't have any activities planned out for them to do. This cruise had the most teens out of any we have been on. They still had a good time. We all had a good time, vacations are what you make of them.
